Pragmata: All the ways the Shelter expands gameplay and story

The Cradle, a massive lunar base that serves as the setting for third-person hacking shooter Pragmata, is a dangerous place to be. It’s crawling with killer robots, often popping up with little warning as you explore its many facilities and passageways. Luckily, there’s the Shelter, a tucked-away location that provides a place where you can […]

Rumour: Fable Has Apparently Been Delayed Internally, But May Still Launch In 2026

"They are worried about the launch of GTA6".GTA 6 could be a bit of a trouble-maker when it comes to other 2026 game launches, couldn't it? The Rockstar epic is sure to swallow up everyone's time and attention when it finally launches this year (supposedly), and the latest rumour doing the rounds suggests that Xbox's Fable may end up getting delayed to avoid it.According to industry reporter Jeff Grubb, "Fable has been pushed internally", although Grubb does go on to say that "they're still trying to get it out this year" in terms of Microsoft's current plan for the RPG reboot. It all seems to hinge on GTA 6, going off this rumour.Read the full article on purexbox.com

Xbox's Asha Sharma Speaks On Camera For First Time As Microsoft Gaming CEO

As part of a fan vlog with Phil Spencer.Even though Asha Sharma has been very active in making improvements for Xbox fans over the past few weeks, we still haven't seen her speak publicly on camera as Xbox boss — or at least, not until a GDC vlog went live over the weekend.A YouTuber known as Mr. Wright Way was in attendance at GDC 2026 back in March, and while speaking to Phil Spencer about his retirement from Xbox, he happened to bump into new Xbox boss and Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma at the same time, prompting her first on-camera appearance for Xbox (at least that we know about!).Read the full article on purexbox.com

Xbox Reporter Suggests Microsoft Is Being More Lenient With Its Gaming Profit Goals

"This has given Xbox extra breathing room...".Back in October, we heard that Microsoft had been pushing its Xbox teams to aim for increased profit margins in recent years - and although the Xbox owner responded by saying that the quoted 30% margin was incorrect, it was still believed that increased pressures had been put on Microsoft's studios as of late. Well, apparently that's now been relaxed a little bit following recent leadership changes at Xbox HQ.Xbox reporter Jez Corden has taken to social media to promote a recent 'XB2 News' post, which gathers up some big Xbox news from April 2026. Although the post is paywalled for now, Corden does tease some of its contents, including information that "Xbox has reduced margin pressure from the top down" recently.Read the full article on purexbox.com

The Bully-Inspired 'Agefield High' Releases For PC This Summer, Xbox Later In 2026

Can it live up to the hype?Around six months ago, we covered a game called Agefield High: Rock The School that was going viral due to its comparisons to 'Bully' by Rockstar, and it's now been dated for PC - with Xbox and PS5 versions due later in 2026.This game is getting serious interest on YouTube in particular right now, with IGN's new gameplay trailer for Agefield High racking up hundreds of thousands of views over the past weekend alone. There's clearly massive demand for another Bully-style game on modern platforms, and people are hoping this will scratch the itch.Read the full article on purexbox.com

Feature: ROG Xbox Ally X: 6-Month Review - A Handheld I've Been Using In Unexpected

Has it really been that long already?!Six months ago, when I first got my hands on the ROG Xbox Ally X courtesy of ASUS, I assumed it was going to become like an Xbox Series X in my hands — a system I would use basically in the same kind of way as my main Xbox console, while also perhaps taking advantage of the likes of Steam and other PC storefronts from time to time. Now, as I sit here in April 2026, the way I've been using the Xbox Ally has definitely surprised me in more ways than one. Has it replaced my Xbox Series X? Definitely not. Do I use it the same way as my Xbox Series X? Definitely not! But in many respects, it's become the most important gaming system that I own, and often for unexpected reasons that I hadn't anticipated back in October of last year.Read the full article on purexbox.com

Rumour: Microsoft Might Not Launch Call Of Duty 2026 On Xbox Game Pass

This year's COD may skip a day one XGP release. In the last couple of years, Microsoft has made the bet to launch Call of Duty day one on Xbox Game Pass; first with 2024's Black Ops 6 before following it up last year with Black Ops 7. However, a new rumour doing the rounds suggests that Xbox is considering reversing that decision for this year's Call of Duty game.As discussed on a recent episode of The Xbox Two podcast, reporter Jez Corden talks about COD's place on Microsoft's subscription service. Corden goes on to ponder the thought of Xbox not launching Call of Duty 2026 day one on the service, before following up that he's heard such a move "is a possibility".Read the full article on purexbox.com

Feature: Forza Horizon 4 Is Still Packed With Players On Xbox, And It's Easing The W

One final lap of open-world Britain?Recently, I spent a good amount of hours playing Forza Horizon 6 for a preview some of you may have seen on Pure Xbox, and I had a fantastic time with Xbox's upcoming 2026 racer. In fact, I'd started getting withdrawal symptoms after the preview concluded - so much so that a re-install of my favourite FH game was on the cards while I wait; Forza Horizon 4. While heading back to open-world Britain was a tough transition at first, what greeted me was a game that's still thriving, and one that'll always have a special place in my heart. The instant I dipped back into Horizon 4 this past week, I was quickly greeted with a 'Forzathon Live' event - so naturally, I headed straight for that to take part. When I arrived, there were loads of players preparing to kick things off, and honestly, it felt like I was back playing around the launch of the game! We quickly blasted through the event and snagged our points, and I can definitely say that despite its recent delisting, plenty of folks still play Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox and PC.Read the full article on purexbox.com
