Two Xbox Games Are Shutting Down Their Servers In June 2026

Along with others that are closing certain parts of their servers.A new month begins! Therefore, we've inevitably got more Xbox games that are shutting down their servers over the next few weeks. There are actually only two full server closures as things stand, but there's more to talk about as well.Let's start with those two games. The big one here is Battlefield Hardline, which just recently was delisted back on May 22nd, and it'll be shutting down its servers on June 22nd. After six years, QR has surprised me once again.When Quick Resume first arrived back at the start of the Xbox Series X and Series S generation in 2020, it was one of the most exciting new features — the ability to jump back into your game immediately without rebooting it from scratch.I was initially a massive convert, and it's something I've used here and there over the past six years, but a few bad experiences in the early years had scared me away somewhat.
