I've heard about it (3rd Rock from the Sun), but never watched it. I like John Lithgow's character in that vid, he's very funny.  Smile

1987/1992 late night italian show
it was a sort of amatorial strip show

Colpo Grosso also aired in Portugal, it was named “Água na Boca” (it can be translated as “Mouth-watering”) but I wasn't allowed to watch it.  Icon_rolleyes

Allo Allo and Batman TAS were awesome, great picks. 3rd Rock from the Sun was very funny too!

There were so many great shows back then that it’s hard to pick a definitive favorite but I’m bringing an underrated anime I really liked as a kid: Miracle Giants Dome-kun.

Miracle Giants Dome-kun is an anime about a kid (Dome) who plays as a pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants. Like many sports anime from the 80s/90s (I’m looking at you Captain Tsubasa) he has some special tricks up his sleeve. This anime is not very well-known in the West (my friends don’t even remember it) but it was great. There’s drama, comedy, friendship, rivalries, magical shots, a never-surrender vibe, really cool cartoon! In Europe, I think it was broadcasted only in Portugal, Spain and Italy. Not sure if it has ever aired in the US.

BlackAdder was so popular here ,that inspired very similar (and also very popular) show, which was set in beggining of 1800 in Serbia, this short scene shows noble  Crni (means Black) Gruja and his 2 sidekicks , servent Bole (aka dirty and disgusting) and small noble Ceda (aka  the idiot) :

Also, very popular was Monty Payton Flaying Circus.

Actually, most of good old British shows were very popular here, which is realy unusual by politic of that  time (comunist state runs all British shows lol).

Crni (Black) Gruja  was a great show  Smile , especially the first season with our actor Sergej Trifunovic as title character.

Another British show that was very popular here is Mr. BeanSmile
Based on a character originally developed by Rowan Atkinson while he was studying for his master's degree at the Oxford University, the series centers on Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as "a child in a grown man's body", as he solves various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causes disruption in the process.
It only consisted of 15 episodes, but was so well received by the audience that it had several reruns.
