Wii goes straight into BootMii
#1
Video
Okay so this is the 3rd Wii I've modded but its been a long time.

I installed the Homebrew Channel with the LetterBomb method using the HackMii Installer, then I installed BootMii as Boot 2. Then I installed PriiLoader, d2x cIOS Installer, and Multi Mod Manager.

From there I backed up the NAND in BootMii and found that the Wii boots directly to BootMii, so I went into PriiLoader to mess with the settings, it gave an error about hacks_hash.ini but I managed to track down that file and update PriiLoader to 8.2 from 8.0 (problem fixed). In PriiLoader I tried to change the Wii to boot to the system menu but it doesn't matter what I choose it boots straight into BootMii which I don't want.

I have installed both BootMii and PriiLoader on my other Wii's but never had a problem like this, it is the white Wii and if I had to guess it was made before 2008. I bought it defective and found a credit card was lodged in the disc drive, reads discs just fine and was on firmware 4.2U and I updated it to 4.3U before modding it.

Here is the video I followed since I was lazy and it was an up to date tutorial, the only thing I did differently was install BootMii as Boot 2 for better brick protection:

(When I tried to insert the video it would show in the preview but give an error after posting and wouldn't play, here's the link instead)

Why not tell people exactly what you did to solve this incase they have the same issues in the future since you fixed it?

I did, I used BootMii Configuration Editor to solve the issue. If you want to be more specific I changed the boot delay to "0".
