One of the biggest thing I missed from my childhood is that you can take pictures when you insert something called Game Boy Camera. Is there any emulation based on it?
The best bet for emulating the Gameboy Camera is mGBA. Link to instructions on the Emulation General Wiki. mGBA can use a webcam or an image file on the PC, and the 3DS port supports using the system's cameras. Since the 3DS is portable it's the closest thing to emulating the full GB camera experience without actually grabbing a Gameboy and camera.
