making a make a c64 component cable?

i dont have a tv with svideo so i cant make that cable
so im sticking with a component for my crts
does any one know any info with video cables
i cant seem to get a decent picture
im trying to make a c64 8 pin to component cable yrw

i have no clue if 1,2,3,6 are wired to the component cable
this is the pinout

if you mean composite cable (yellow video red white audio) you need only pins 4&2 for the yellow and 3&2 for the audio (its mono so you can use only one red or white)

hmm, that's a tough one, you might wanna buy a cheap converter, I have no doubt it will do the job.

composite i mean my bad .i finally made a x1541 cable to connect the c64 drive to a old pc to write floppys disks im to cheap atm to buy a s2diec & fastloader

do you think also adding a composite to hdmi converter also will tidy up the image on a lcd tv

as far as I am aware svideo is the best output option you get from a c64, this is what I use connected to crt tv gives nice clear picture.
