Sega Genesis?

I'd love to have a Sega Genesis. 
I've watched enough GAME SACK to know stuff about that nice console! LOL! :lol:

There's no hate for the md, it's one of the best consoles of all time.
I am more then slightly biased though, i'm a sega nut through and through, i gotta say that the snes is a fantastic system as well i had a blast with it back in the early 90's.
Over here in the UK sega kinda ruled the roost console wise untill the big N released the snes with street fighter as the pack in game, that was a real game changer over here.
The 2 of them went head to head for the market in the UK and we ended up with a shitload of classic games, those were the day's.

Nowadays I would go with an emulator, since its been emulated perfectly...
Love me some Genesis grew up with it.
It was a great console with good music and sound and decent speed,
Had a low colors on screen count was the only negative really.

I never owned a genesis(not counting my clone) but i think it was better than snes....i still do. though majority of my favorite game are on the snes, games series on the nintendo only, and well....genesis is better in my opinion, just didnt get much love from game industry. sigh poor sega, i wonder if they will make another console again------

No real answer to the question, OP wasn't asking why you personally hate on it, why isn't there a dedicated section to it??

^ I think its just a case of how many sections can there be. Everyone has a favourite and we can't have individual sections for absolutely all of them. Sorry, i think we all just got a little sidetracked with our love for the genesis/megadrive. It is a little odd though that we skip from master system to Saturn, DC has to have section as its awesome lol.
If there was a lot of interest in a particular console having a section i'm sure it would be considered, maybe down the line when other important projects for the site and assciated are completed.
Let the powers that be know by posting that you would like one in this thread or in the site suggestions forum.
