We’re excited to announce that game Let It Die: Inferno, the latest entry in the Let It Die universe, is coming to PS5 on December 3! This roguelite survival action game builds on the series that has captivated over nine million players worldwide with its twisted, darkly funny dystopian world. Unlike its predecessor, where players climbed the daunting Tower of Barbs, Let It Die: Inferno takes you on a thrilling descent into the deepest, darkest depths of Hell. Survival is everything—die, and you’ll find yourself back at the very beginning.
You’ll take on the role of an immortal explorer, called a Raider, and embark on a quest to uncover the ultra-energy hidden within the Hell Gate, a massive chasm born from an unprecedented cataclysm. In Let It Die: Inferno, players will dive deeper into the series’ world with new stories, expanded lore, and yes—more Uncle Death.
Within the Hell Gate, all bets are off. In order to survive, players must not only fend off grotesque creatures and human enemies in melee-focused combat, but also other players. It’s roguelite survival action in a chaotic, PvEvP environment. Upon each descent, your Raider will be equipped with a character-specific weapon which can be switched out with any weapon you find as you explore. All Raiders are dual-wielding and the combination of weapons in your equipment slots will unlock new special attacks. Needless to say, no two playing experiences will be the same; stage layouts and item placements shift every descent, so players must use a strategic combination of unique weapons and special abilities to make it out alive.
Alongside the PvEvP mode within the Hell Gate, you can put your survival skills to the ultimate test in competitive matches against other players. We can’t wait for you to jump into this highly anticipated sequel in the Let It Die series, and we’re working hard to make sure it delivers a hellishly good experience.
