How did you find RetroZone & what were you looking for?

Been around the scene for ~10 years now, pcisozone and dcisozone were the first I joined, but never really became active until the sites merged.
 
Was already a IsoZone user until things went south I heard of Retro Zone from a post on Reddit explaining what happened and with a link to the site.
 
Member on TIZ from 2014, i lurked for maybe 2 years before i took the plunge, it got to be a part of my life very quickly and if i needed any advise with modding i could 90% of the time find my answers there.
I missed all of the meltdown so i had no idea what had been going on last 2 months, finally spent an evening messing about with discord a few nights back and boom i'm here on RZ.
I'm also enlightened to the jambo fuelled judas shitshow thank's to a bit of googling and reading back on the pinned messages on discord.
I think i said on discord that he ran a few of my good buddies of tiz when thay didn't agree with his racist, bigoted views so i'm not really suprised at his behaviour.
He's made a serious error of judgement in undersetimating the power of the retro community in general and especially the tiz family, deep bonds were forged on tiz, but time to move on, long live RZ, all hail the new flesh lol.
 
I use the isozone but never register, now i register this dawn of a new era, and i use for my xbox, i dont trust in other site, but the downloads sessions is lock for me :(
 
I was a user on TiZ to get help with softmoding my OG Xbox and lurked around there and Emuparadise for years, until, in the span of one week, everything went away and got replaced with something called "Reprimed". I look for answers on reddit and found my way here.
 
i was on TIZ a long time, found out about here from Biggsy666 after i bought dreamcast from him on ebay.
 
I joined the ISOzone as a lurker for a long time and decided to try to give back as best as I could. Then I moved here when (N) F'ed eveything up and destroeyd rom sites and damaged the community.
 
I was on The Iso Zone for a while. Tried to log on one day and couldn't . I had no idea WTF was going on. Thankfully,I have a few folks on my Steam buddy list and I hit a couple up and they told me what happened.

It's great to have another place to post and talk about gaming stuff,but I am kind of bummed about all the great posts lost. I wish I had tried to back some stuff up from TiZ.

Ah well,shit happens. It's good to be here.
 
First I was a member of the site before TIZ and I just can't remember the name of it right now, then I was a member on TIZ, then I wasn't then I was then I wasn't then I was LOL that went on a few times. I totally missed retro zone 1.0 but I sure ain't new to TIZ. I kept my eye open to whenever TIZ is comin back so I jumped on this when it came online...
 
I was a member of dcisozone and xboxisozone under a different user name. Then after some time off I joined the combined site of TIZ under this name and was on there for lot of years and enjoyed it. I met a lot of cool people there and learned a lot about modding consoles.

Then I found out that tiz was closing down and retrozone.co was going to be it's successor so I signed up right away. Then this site was trashed by a douche bag and so I've checked back every so often and I checked back today and it was finally back up?
 
Thanks for reminding me qedeshim... it was dcisozone I was a member of and I think another one too. I also had a different username at those sites.
 
What happened to TiZ ... is there a dedicated thread or reason it went belly up? I miss that place so much, it had everything well organized and categorized for everyone. It was a beautiful forum. I miss it so much its unreal.
 
If I'm not mistaken, DC Iso Zone was the first place that I discovered about Dreamcast ISO's, always lurking though, even on TiZ. Found out about RZ the same way as Matty, through a Reddit thread.

You and me both. I hate not being able to search for info on there. It was a wealth of knowledge.
