How did you find RetroZone? I was member of Snesorama, IsoZone, Emuparadise as long it lasted. After I found out about shuting down I was mess. Quickly I backed up all my roms since my PC was already wiped out due to bad hard drive I was forced to do my best to save as many games I could and hopefully find all you guys once more to build even beter and stronger community.

I was always a lurker way back in the days of the likes of DCIsoZone and XboxIsoZone, I became a bit more involved when it fully merged into TheIsoZone, and ever since I always came back to it on a regular basis. When I initially heard about the site moving over, I made sure to be on top of it and join to try and become a part of the community.. than the whole hijinx happened.

RZ is back though, and I'm back. Glad to be here.

I was a TiZ user back in '09 maybe 2010? I stuck around for a few years, uploaded games, joined in conversations, did a few trade/sell/buys. I took a break for a while and just a few months ago, hopped back on to TiZ and read that things were changing. Then one day the place shut down.

I'm still the admin of the TiZ Steam group and decided to reinstall steam not too long ago to get my game on. Luckily just the other night, Urkman messaged me letting me know what was going down, and here I am.

Hi! Well I was a TIZ member and knew all about this new site here. Just waited for it to open up. It's great to have a site again for us.

Made the mistake of going to bed mere minutes before Judgement Day. Started searching /vr/ threads and Reddit to figure out what was going on, kept checking back here every few days. Kept missing the Discord invite on top of that, so I've been fairly anxious the past two months.

I came across RetroZone via forum signatures that various TiZ members had, and decided to join you guys sometime after, so here I am.

Been around since the first sites, just kinda got shuttled along over the years until now.

to be honest... i slept with Curb and he gave me the site new adress written on a piece of already used toilet paper.... :D

Found TIZ in 2012 I believe. Was just looking for some retro gaming resources and found an awesome community! Glad RZ is continuing that Legacy the right way.

Found Isozone last year. Spent the time until it;s closing building my modded psp's library and reclaiming a few titles lost form my old HDD before it's failure.

I was around when TiZ was still around; I had stumbled onto the website while looking for the PC port of Die Hard Trilogy, and when I did get it, had problems with the DirectX. I made an account on there, asked for help, and eventually decided to stick around. The rest is history.

I was member of Snesorama shortly before they were shutdown and had uploaded a couple ISOs for PS2 for the community. Later on, I found Emuparadise but mostly was a lurker. I never participated in any discussions. Along with that, I also came across TheIsoZone. Mostly was a lurker too, reading the forums and such but never participated either. As soon as I wanted to join in the community, all hell had broken loose already. I was saddened to see it go and was learning the history about the site.

I came across TheIsoZone mostly because it had all of the most obscure games I wanted to find for PC/DOS. Ones that most people have almost written off from history. Old FMV games and the likes that I just couldn't find anywhere else on the vast internet. IsoZone was the only crew that had them and I was really gratefully to see all those old gems (in my eyes) in one place.

Since learning of the movement over to RetroZone, I want to be a part of the community as much as can.

Was mostly a lurker until i found TIZ back in 2016 i think or something like that... i lurked there for a while and eventually got semi-active in the community. I was one of the firsts to adopt RZ 1.0 even if it was really empty and unpopulated next to TIZ... when TIZ shutdown along with RZ i was hopefully on the discord already and verified since a while. I was there the whole time and cheered for the time to build a new site, talked, gave ideas and here i am finally seeing it back again better than ever and truly now a real heir to what TIZ was. Hope to see it grow as big as it were before and see the roms and isos back eventually ! I think as long as we stay away from curent gen we should be atleast more okay a bit.

Love RZ and long live !

Found and joined the isozone during my time of trying to figure out how to mod a ps2 found out about fmcb from various users and sorting through previous posts on the site was amazed at how much content and awesone people were packed on the isozone
