OK people...
https://www.opptrends.com/
This is just a clickbait type of site really, new owners
U know, next page...next page...maybe a few lame articles on all you never wanted to know about win2000
These types of post i hate to write, New dev. does not deserve the black eye here
i'll take my licks, I have already
Wall of text:
Old site owner started TiZ when he was younger, and wanted out, its that simple.
This is really the first time I have spoken on this publicly, and last.
I have read alot on the webs, I find it all sickening/
I have all of the info's and proofs on these matters, and TBH with everyone , it wont help anyone.
Stop the witch_hunting please
Old site was over in 2016, we bought it some time
Last few years of site, it was community that kept it going, by all of our support
RZ1.0 was a lifeboat, we needed a new dev.
What happened?
Hind sight is 20/20 here
My goal was to try to preserve old forum, and to protect community by providing a new home
We all know it didnt work out.
Fight? not really. Lack of communication and childish games being played behind my back.
We made a deal, and it fell through. Site was un-managable in its form, on purpose by old dev.
very dirty code.
We were all being puppeted. Trust was gone.
The CrossRoad:
Hindsight, if there was anything I could have done different? hmmm.....NO.
Maybe let nature take its course, and let it be sold and profited on some more....(outlook was vry ugly)
OR try to save what "could" have been a decent deal for all of us, so I chose to go forward.
Without pointing or getting into other's ill behaviors we all had to endure
The "charade"< as it was put, ended. and that was best for all in that situation. >ToXiC<
I never did or do have any ill intentions on profitizing on this. I was a member as all of you
Both of my servers were corrupted , I relaunched that night only to be taken down by a madman within 10 minutes. Yes I have proof/
His choice to close TiZ, was his decision.
Re-launching that 1.0 mess would not have been fair to anyone. sad day for all
We did parse a list of roughly 18,000 community FD links for the public and passed that out to all of you. (dead issue now)
Downtime: If the site was to be remade, we needed a >community< member, with skills, and the willingness to seize the opportunity.
The big blue Bat signal went up
Other dev's I spoke with had some insane marketing schemes, or wanted to change it into something it was never intended to be
that def. would have been disaterous.
Sure anyone with 5$ and a free copy of forum software can launch, but.... longetivity? doubtful.
phpBB and a handful of plugins do not make a good site or a lastful one at that.
(trust me on this one)
This site is anything but that.
There you have it
Apologies for not talking sooner really, it was to protect community, double edged sword
I keep all of my infos under tight wraps, way it has to be.
I understand people invest time into sites, and sites need to be feasible to survive long term.
Pre-cautions were mandatory to ensure this possibility, uphill all the way too...sadly for all of us.
As part of this team, you have MY word that ANY issues arising will be dealt with swiftly
not this childish BS i've been reading for a year on these matters.
I have spent considerable time doing my homework/
Here we are 1 year later:
Enter Massamo
Today RetroZone now has a excellent dev!
This person was a member as long or longer than I, hardcore gamer
not absent as old site was left basically 2 mods working with a few broken sticks.(no bs)
Today community has a site and the staff are adults.
Scene has changed quite a bit over the years, this is our postage stamp on the webs
provided for all of you to enjoy, connect and do as you wish

New ideas are constantly thrown about, we will see where the future leads us
Massamo is most definitely one of the most serious gamers i've met out here ( how many games do u own? Hah!)
Very Trustworthy, Has the means to cutting edge technology, with serious skills++
Dedicated, Keyboard's in both hands, and thats no BS.
